Wellington County, Ontario
Built for Grand River valley limestone, rolling farmland and large rural lots north of Guelph.
Wellington County is the northern half of where we work — Fergus and Elora on the Grand River, Rockwood and Ariss on the Eramosa side, and the country properties in between. The ground here is limestone close to the surface and open farmland that takes the wind, and both shape the design: stone that belongs to the county rather than imported against it, planting chosen for a colder, more exposed site than the escarpment towns to the south, and structures built for the snow they will carry. It is the same team, the same one-contact design/build process, and the same standard of stonework and water that our Landscape Ontario awards came from.
Every project runs the same way regardless of which town it is in: a consultation on site, a concept design, digital rendering so you can see it before ground is broken, then construction with Tom and Will personally on the job. We are a family-operated design/build firm — you are not handed off to a subcontractor after the drawings are signed.
